creating a sustainable future for Airports

DEVELOPING MUTUAL BENEFITS

ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE GROWTH

The Challenge

In the long term (in 2040), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects to carry more than 7 billion passengers. Continued growth of the aviation sector has produced economic benefits and connectivity in Europe, however environmental and health impacts have increased and are expected to grow substantially in the next 20 years. This enormous growth scenario has not only consequences for Airport capacity, infrastructure capacity is already critical at many major airports, but also for the CO2 emissions of aviation. Airports can take a leading role in the improvement of polluting aircraft kerosene and the development of E-fuels.

The Solution

By combining innovative solutions for airport design and operations and integrate these into a sustainable airport environment, we can actually match the challenge and give Airport operators and owners a sustainable alternative for growth. We believe that the realisation of an offshore airport island, could provide for the best platform in order to create a sustainable Airport operation: achieving a substantial decrease in CO2 emissions, noise nuisance, pollution and increasing the capacity and profitability for the aviation industry which is good for the people, the planet and prosperity.

How we Work

We have the expertise of bringing together the right innovations and partners in the ‘Sea Projects’ for aviation in Europe. We believe that together, we can create a reality where the CO2 emissions are being decreased and simulaneously the Airport operation can prosper, avoid heavy congestion, reduce noise nuisance and pollution. ENADT is a neutral party to both government and large corporate stakeholders. Our goal is to persuade all the stakeholders to keep an open mind and act on the solutions that technology and innovation can give us.

We believe that together, we can create a reality where the CO2 emissions are being decreased and simultaneously the Airport operation can prosper, avoid heavy congestion, reduce noise nuisance and pollution.

We can gain the upper hand NOW and take real action on reducing CO2, managing growth in the aviation industry, create sustainable solutions for future passenger and freight demand, waste, noise and emissions. It's now THE TIME to commit and build a solution that is good for people, for our planet and is good for business.

ENADT is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, adopted by all UN members in 2015. Our Innovative and Sustainable Airport of the future creates mutual benefits for all stakeholders.  Making Air Travel possible for the future generation without compromising our planet and its inhabitants.
